Scott Whitten

"One of my earliest childhood memories is of watching my grandmother at her easel painting a landscape onto a tiny canvas no more than a few inches wide. Witnessing her create this miniature world was instantly fascinating to me and began my lifelong interest in art."

As a Georgia native, Scott finds as much inspiration in the lush, coastal landscape as he does from his lifelong love of Mid-Century Modern design. Scott creates pieces that contrast a delicate, painterly enameling style with a modernist, almost architectural approach to metalwork. This unique juxtaposition of styles and techniques results in distinctive jewelry pieces that balance the stark, clean lines of minimalism with the organic shapes and vibrant colors of the natural world.

Additionally Scott has a new collection of small framed enamel paintings!  These pieces are ornately framed and span a range of subject matter.

Scott creates all of his pieces in Savannah, Georgia.
