Kathryn Riechert

Kathryn Riechert began her art career by studying 'Metals and Jewelry' at the Savannah College of Art and Design.  After graduating with honors in 2002 she began building her own jewelry business by participating in art shows throughout the USA, launching her collection online, and teaching jewelry classes for many years at the City of Savannah's Department of Cultural Affairs.
Kathryn's jewelry combines a variety of techniques including kiln fired copper enameling and sterling silver fabrication.  The beads, pearls, and stones used in her pieces are hand selected from gem shows in Tucson, Arizona.
She is most known for her playful and whimsical style, as well as the hand stamped messages you will find on many of her designs.  She strives to create meaningful pieces that will be both fun to wear and empowering for the wearer.
Kathryn is a cat and chicken enthusiast, a love which features prominently in her jewelry.
